Lance’s academic career began at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, and he graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. He then studied at the International College of Seville, Spain, before receiving a Master of Business degree at University College Cork, Ireland. Next, he earned a Master of International Relations from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Ultimately, he completed a Ph.D. in International Relations at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Lance’s business development began with his parents’ international construction company, where he worked in a variety of roles. From Washington, D.C., to Beijing, Lance held roles ranging from construction laborer to proposal director. As part of his postgraduate studies, he did a business internship in Singapore. Later, he served as Director of Business Development for his parents’ company in Australia and Asia.
Lance then embarked on his documentary film career. He was the Executive Producer, Author, and Presenter of the award-winning documentary film America Boxed In, which was based on his acclaimed book Globalization Contained.
He then founded the Deep Now Project. He served as Executive Producer, Author, and Presenter of the documentary film The Deep Now Project: This Moment of Miracles. The film explores what connects the world’s states, economies, and societies. And the global culture in which they’re set.
Lance enjoyed competing athletically in boxing, football, and track and field, where he made lifelong friends. Today, he enjoys travelling, meeting new people, launching new projects, and spending time with family and friends. Lance is also a proud enrolled member of the Gros Ventre American Indian tribe.
